The Name or Self-Designation of the Group
As already mentioned, the group has no name for itself. The members call themselves simply “Christians,” “true Christians,” or simply “the community.” They reject any other label or denominational designation (Protestant, Catholic, Nondenominational, Anglican, etc.). Among themselves, they refer to each other as “siblings.” In order to differentiate this group from others which call themselves Christian, the name “Holic Group” has become the accepted term among cult specialists and among the friends and family of those drawn into the group.
